That One Time...

....We confused everyone on the Jockey Journal...and made a few angry.

The Micetich Coupe.

It's been a long and windy road, but I am happy to say that my '32 3 window coupe is finally on the road! She drives like a dream and I couldn't be happier. The car was a survivor car from 1968 and as much as it looked fantastic, it was very badly built. So it was decided that it would be a complete frame up build. Big thanks to The Kennedy Brothers for the full build and paint and big thanks to Scott Miller for rebuilding the 1955 Cadillac motor and dialing her in perfectly.
Here some pics of the process.

Brennen's Killer Chevy Belair.

Hi Matt  , my name is Brennen .... I just want to start off by saying 'GREAT FRICKIN MAG MAN!!  even before I picked up a dice mag I was living the life style seen in the pages u publish... Anyhow, I have a car that in my opinion personifies the very structure of your mag.... Pure nostalgia, trick vintage speed parts unmolested Americana...... I own a 1957 Chevy Belair hardtop AA/GAS altered drag car that has survived from 1960 to current day with nearly 100% of its original parts, paint, driveline decals etc.......the car was bought new, driven 3000 miles transformed into a track bruiser in 1960 and never touched a public road again. It was raced by a famous Midwest drag racer named Charlie Proite who stuffed in a 389 Pontiac with a GMC supercharger and hilborn injection, later he went to a 421 Pontiac with the same set up.. in 1972 the car was fitted with a 1967 GTO 400 and raced till 1978, The car is a Complete time capsule Matt ,if u run this by anyone who understands vintage speed parts they are gonna say the same thing I said when I looked this car over NO FU**KING WAY...... 48 ford heavily drilled and chromed straight axle with hair pins, superchargerd Pontiac 400 with homemade zoomies, moon tank, Halibarnd kidney bean magnesium wheels , B&M hydrostick........the list goes on and on. the patina on this car is so incredible is like rolling art.....

I want the world , and like minded people such as you and myself to see a perfect representation of the hay day of drag racing ,the crude technology, and the huge balls these guys had drivin this BATTLE AXE!!!

enclosed are a few photos ,the car will be at the viva lasvegas show on april  3

Great Pics From Michael In The Czech Republic.

Hello Matt & Dean,

my name is Michael and I come from Czech Republic.

I like your DICE magazine very much. Because there is no distribution of it in the Czech Republic, I always look forward to buy it when I visit events like Kustom Kulture in Bottrop ,Zeche Walde, or swapmeat in Manheim. By the way in Manheim you have a great distributor from UK http://www.themagazineman.co.uk/, he always recommend your magazine to everyone

I grew up with skateboarding in 80 s. and Harley Davidson culture with my dad. Both these passions were not easy to have during socialism and communism in Czech Republic. One had to sacrifice a lot .... but that's another story.

I want to ask you to book a T- shirt  which you did in cooperation with the HD museum.  I have really special relation to this particular design. My dad used to have one of this T-shirts in the 70 s. He wore it with pride, even if it was not permitted to wear anything related to USA.

I attached some pictures of my dad wearing that T-shirt, you are welcome to use these pictures, if it helps somehow to promote your T-shirts or if you see it useful somehow. In case you need better quality, I will try to look for it.

I am 44 years old, have my own garage, where I fix and custom HDs. I ride the Flathead 1943 chopper and Buell S1 lightning and I like 4Q lifestyle. I speak very little English, that is why my girlfriend Petra is helping me to translate anything I need. She is also HD fan and rides her Sportster 1200R.

Held on a frozen Lake Michigan on the Sunday morning after the Mama Tried show. It was bloody freezing and bloody spectacular! Ice is very hard and hurts when you high side and these guys just didn't seem to care. Love it.
